5.3.1 Viewing Case Context

To view the Case Context, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Case Summary page.
  2. Go to the Case Context section. The basic case details are displayed with Case ID, Title, Status, and Priority.
  3. Click (Left Arrow) Case ID. The Case Context section is expanded to view and modify the selected Case ID.
    The Case Context fields are configurable. For more information, see the Adding and Configuring Derived Attribute section in Administration and Configuration Guide.
    The following table provides a list of the fields that display in the Case Context section.

    Fields Description
    Title Displays the name of the case. You can modify the title of the case if your role permits.
    Case ID Displays the unique Identifier of the case.
    Class Displays the class of case. For example, AML, Fraud.
    Type Displays the type of case. For example, AML_SURV.
    Status Displays the current state of the case relative to its analysis and closure.
    Priority Displays the priority assigned to the case. For example, High, medium, or low. You can modify the priority of the case if your role permits.
    Jurisdiction Displays the geographical Jurisdiction associated with the case.
    Business Domain Displays the business domains associated with the case.
    Created Displays the date on which the case is created.
    RiskScore Displays the risk score as provided by the system or the override score (applicable only for KYC cases).
    Next Periodic Review Date Displays the next periodic review date as provided by the user during the investigation (applicable only for KYC cases).
    KYC Risk Score Expiration Displays the KYC risk score expiration as provided by the user during investigation (applicable only for KYC cases).
    Owner Displays the name of an individual user or the user group who owns the case.
    Owner Organization Displays the organization that owns the cases.
    Due Displays the date by which action should be taken on the case.
    Closed Date Displays the date when the closing action was taken on the case.
    Assignee Displays the user or group to whom the case is assigned.
    Age Displays the age of the case. The case age is the number of calendar days between case creation and current date.
    Score Displays the score of the case.
    Regulatory Report Status Displays the regulatory report status of the case. For example, Approved for Filing,Closed- No Action, and so on.
    Description Displays the description of the case that gives a high-level insight on the subject matter of the case.
    Event Last Added Displays the date in which the last event was added to the case. The field can be blank until correlation extends the case or an event has been manually added to the case.
