4.3.2 Viewing Case List

This section displays the list of cases based on your search criteria for analysis and to take appropriate actions on cases.

To view the Case List, follow these steps:
  1. Enter the Case ID, Search Criteria, or select views from the Views drop-down list.
  2. Click Search. The Case List pane displays.

    The following table provides the case details based on the search criteria.

    Column Description
    Title Displays the title for the case.
    Title Displays the title for the case.
    Type Displays the type of case. For example, AML Surveillance or Account and Product Fraud.
    Priority Displays the priority given to the case under investigation. Case priority displays in different colors that helps you to easily differentiate the cases with high and low priority. The following are the options available:
    • High (Red)
    • Medium (Blue)
    • Low (Green)
    Status Displays the current state of the case compared to its analysis and closure. New, Reopened, and Reassigned statuses display in bold text.
    Assigned To Displays the user or user pool within the organization to whom a case is assigned.
    Status Age Status Age is the duration, in days, since the last status changing action was taken while compared to the current date. Status Age is becomes null when the case is closed. However, if the case is re- opened it is calculated.
    Owner Displays the name of an individual or user pool who owns the case.
    Created Displays the date when the case is created.
    Due Date Displays the date by which action should be taken on the case. Cases that are Nearly Due display in Blue color. Due Dates that are due or overdue display in bold. Overdue Due Dates are displayed in Red color. The definition of nearly due is a value that is configurable by your firm.
    Correlated Events Displays the number of events which are correlated to the case.
    Jurisdiction Displays the jurisdiction to which the case belongs to.
    Business Domain Displays the business domain to which the case belongs to.
    Linked Events Displays the number of events.
    Linked Case Displays the number of cases.
    Last Comment Displays the comment provided during the last status-changing action.
    Created By Displays the name of an individual or user pool who has created the case.
    Age Displays the age of the case. The case age is the number of calendar days between case creation and the current date.
    Score Displays the score of the case.
  3. Click the required Case ID. The Case Summary page is displayed to perform in-depth analyses of individual case.
  4. If the selected case is locked, that is, another user has currently accessed the same case, a message displays, informing you that the case is locked by another user. Click OK to view the case details page in view-only mode. You cannot take action on the case. For more information, see Investigating Cases.
