Creating the DTEXSCH Feature Configuration

The DTEXSCH feature configuration enables you to maintain a single file for each table with consolidated records added or updated during the day in the online mode instead of creating multiple files for each table throughout the day.

Procedure

To create the DTEXSCH feature configuration:

  1. Click the Admin link in the Application toolbar.
    A list appears.
  2. From the Admin menu, select F and then click Feature Configuration.
    A sub-menu appears.
  3. Click the Add option from the Feature Configuration sub-menu.
    The Feature Configuration screen appears.
  4. Enter DTEXSCH in the Feature Name field.
  5. Select the Data Extraction Schedule option from the Feature Type list.
  6. Enter the appropriate description in the respective field.
  7. Set the following option type in the feature configuration:
    Option Type Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Time Slot Used to indicate the time slot defined for online mode data extraction. The system will then create a CSV file for each table associated with the maintenance object. The system will extract all the records which are added or updated between the given time slot.
    Note: You must specify the time slot in the HH:MI HH:MI format using 24 Hours base. For example, 00:00 23:59. This means that the system will extract all the records which are added or updated between 12:00 am to 11:59 pm at once in the online mode.

  8. Click the Save button in the Page Title area.
    The feature configuration is defined.
