Configuring SSO

Configuring SSO consists of the following high-level steps:

• Step 1: Create an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Tenancy

  Unless one already exists, creating an OCI tenancy is the first step.

• Step 2: Creating an OCI IAM Identity Domain

  Within your OCI tenancy, create an identity domain.

• Step 3: Provide Oracle with OCI IAM Identity Domain Details

  Some OCI and identity domain details need to be communicated to Oracle, so that your enterprise can be configured.

• Step 4: Migrate Existing Cloud Users to the New Identity Domain

  All existing Simphony cloud users must be migrated to the new identity domain. This is a scheduled process completed by Oracle and verified by you.

• Step 5: Configure Federation

  Configure the authentication federation from Simphony to your existing IdP.

• Step 6: Bulk Update Federation Status

  Within Simphony, find all people you want to federate and update their federation status.
