Page Design

When you manually change template field heights and widths in the Page Design module, the settings are supported with the HTML5 UI that is used for Linux workstations and Android devices, in addition to Windows devices. This enhancement allows you to use the same Page Design templates when you have a variety of device platforms. Page templates only need to be configured once and can then be used on Windows, Linux, and Android devices without reconfiguration.

The following manual template size settings in Page Design support the HTML5 UI:

• Tab Item Width

• Tab Item Height

• Top Status Bar: Height

• Bottom Status Bar: Height

• Last Entry Area: Font Size (affects the Height)

• Navigation Bar Font Size

• Navigation Bar Text Alignment

Attention:

The custom page name length can affect saving the custom page configuration. If the Simphony EMC shows an error when trying to save, shorten the page name length until the configuration is saved.
