Configuring Visibility for Touchscreen Navigation Bar Items and Tabs

Touchscreen navigation bar items and tabs can be made visible depending on a condition. For example, only show the Wine tab if the order type is Dine In because the restaurant doesn’t deliver wine.

  1. Select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Configuration, and then click Page Design.
  2. Open the page on which you want to set the visibility for tabs.
  3. Select a navigation bar item or vertical tab (for example, Wine).
  4. Select the visibility tab in the Navigation Bar or Tab Control area.
  5. Select This item is visible when....
  6. Select Edit Conditions.
  7. Select Add, and then select the condition from the drop-down list in the Field column (for example, Order Type).
  8. Select the Select option. A list of values for the condition appears.
  9. Select the value or values required for the condition (for example, Dine In).
  10. Click OK. The condition is shown in the Visibility tab.
  11. Click Save.
