Transaction Services

Transaction Services enable external systems to connect to a transaction services client within the property.

A transaction services client must be created in the Simphony EMC and linked to a workstation record.

Firewall rules should permit and forward port 8080 requests to the transaction services client, allowing access to transaction services via the correct URL and TS Web Service.

An example URL for a transaction services client is: http://WorkstationIPAddress:8080/EGateway/SimphonyPosApiWeb.asmx.

Consult with your third-party vendor and provide them with the Transaction Services API documentation (located at https://docs.oracle.com/en/industries/food-beverage/simphony/index.html) to help them begin building and integrating with transaction services.
