Reporting and Analytics 20.4

Single Sign-On Support for Simphony Home Cloud Applications

To simplify access and improve identity governance, Reporting and Analytics 20.4 introduces support for Single Sign-On (SSO) for Simphony Home cloud applications. With SSO, users can authenticate through their company’s identity provider and access supported cloud applications using a single, trusted set of credentials.

SSO is supported for Oracle Restaurant cloud applications, including Reporting and Analytics, Frontline Manager, Inventory Management, Gift and Loyalty, and Payments.

Customers who want to enable SSO must be on Reporting and Analytics 20.4 and Simphony 19.10, have an identity provider that supports SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect, and provide an OCI tenancy with a dedicated OCI IAM identity domain for Simphony. If you are interested in enabling SSO for your enterprise, contact your customer success manager or sales representative.

For detailed SSO setup steps, configuration guidance, supported identity options, and operational considerations, refer to the Reporting and Analytics User Guide.

For all customers, the sign-in flow changes in this release. The initial sign-in screen now asks for the user name and enterprise name first, then routes the user based on the enterprise identity configuration. Customers can also use new URL patterns that include the enterprise short name, and SSO-enabled customers can use a /SSO URL suffix to route users directly to their company’s SSO provider. For more information refer to the Reporting and Analytics User Guide.
