Upgrade the Oracle Argus Insight database

Prerequisites

Check the prerequisites as mentioned in the Oracle Argus Safety and Oracle Argus Insight 8.2.3 Installation Guide.

Upgrade the database

  1. To upgrade the database, refer to the Oracle Argus Safety and Argus Insight 8.2.3 Installation Guide, Chapter 16 Upgrade the Oracle Argus Insight Data Mart Structure.
  2. Verify the log file from the specified path in the guide.
  3. Execute a query on the CMN_PROFILE_GLOBAL table for 
    WHERE section = 'DATABASE' AND key = 'DDL_VER'

    Note:

    Make sure that the 8.2.3.1 key exists.
