Initial discrepancy status
If you do not replicate Clintrial rules in the InForm study, and you use Clintrial rules for both EDC and PDC data, you must consider in what state to send queries back to the InForm study.
The CIS software returns queries from the Clintrial software in either the Candidate or Open state:
- Candidate queries require sponsor action before they are visible to a site for resolution.
- Open queries require site resolution.
- By default, the CIS software returns discrepancies on EDC data to the InForm software as Open queries if they are in Ready to Send state. Ready to Send indicates that it is appropriate for a site to see the query. All other discrepancy states translate as Candidate queries in the InForm software.
