Mapping a discrepancy state to the Open InForm query state

Optionally, you can map another discrepancy state as Open in the InForm software by setting the discrepancy initial status.

To set the discrepancy initial status:

Edit the Clintrial database instance, and select the discrepancy state you want. For more information, see Editing a Clintrial database instance.
For each Clintrial rule that should return an Open query, in the Modify Rule dialog box in the Clintrial Design module, set the Discrepancy Initial Status value to the same value that is selected on the Database Settings tab of CIS Synchronization in CIS Administration.
