Modifying or Deleting Locked RDCIs and RDCMs

You can make changes to an RDCI in any log-in mode. However, if the data is locked or already access by another user, you must have access to Key Changes mode to make changes. Changes made to a Received DCI affect its associated Received DCMs.

When you delete an RDCI, the system "soft-deletes" it, which means that its status changes to REMOVED, but the record stays in the system. Oracle Clinical requires that records remain available to the system. The system considers records with the status REMOVED to be inactive.
