Generating a CRF Report or a CRF History Report
The Data Entry Window allows you to generate two reports that are specific to the current CRF, the CRF Report and the CRF History Report.
The purpose of the CRF History report is to provide audit information that is not otherwise available in the data entry window. This includes:
- CRF Creation information (user, user role, date and time)
- History for fields not displayed in the CRF
- Deleted rows and prior history
- Prior history if the CRF was ever deleted
The CRF Report is a single-CRF Patient Data Report that includes the CRF representation itself, followed by all available ancillary data, including discrepancies, audit history and approval history.
Both reports are generated in a background process, and the 'download' icon appears when the report completes. You select that icon to open the PDF in a separate window. If data is updated for the CRF after the report has been generated, the 'download' icon changes to a 'stale' icon, indicating that you can no longer view the latest report. You can generate a new report if needed.
