Participant statuses

A participant's status offers at-a-glance information about the participant's engagement.

Status	Description
Active	A participant changes from the Pending status to the Active status after clicking or tapping the link in their invitation and entering their personal information so that Oracle COVID-19 Patient Monitoring System can validate their identity.
Caregiver Only	An individual who is a caregiver to a participant and not a participant themselves has the Caregiver Only status.
Deceased	A participant changes to the Deceased status after they pass away and someone ends their participation. The system doesn't send messages to deceased participants and doesn't include them in the charts on the Dashboard unless you select the option to Share Data. If you select Share Data, you continue to use the data and the participant status appears Active. If you select Exclude Data for a deceased participant, you stop sharing the data and the participant status appears as Inactive.
Failed Validation	A participant changes from the Pending status to the Failed Validation status after clicking or tapping the link in their invitation and entering personal information that doesn't match the information in the system 3 times. Because Oracle COVID-19 Patient Monitoring System isn't able to validate their identity, the participant is locked out until their validation attempts are reset.
Inactive	A participant changes to the Inactive status after their participation ends, typically after they contact the organization's help desk and ask to end their participation.
Paused	A participant changes to the Paused status while their participation is temporarily paused, typically after they contact the organization's help desk and ask to stop receiving daily messages for a period of time.
Pending	A new participant who was added and hasn't started their participation yet has a status of Pending.
SneezSafe	Every participant who is associated with a SneezSafe entity always has a status of SneezSafe. This status appears only on the Dashboard pages.
Unsubscribed	A participant who unsubscribes from messages changes to the Unsubscribed status.
