Workflow for new participants

After participants receive invitations to participate in daily health update surveys, they can start participating within minutes.

The following steps show the workflow for coordinators who add participants and for people who agree to participate:
  1. A coordinator adds one or more participants to the system and decides whether to send the invitation now or later. If the coordinator chooses later, the system typically sends the invitations during the overnight or morning hours for the U.S. Eastern time zone. Coordinators can talk to their Oracle Customer Success managers to request a time.
  2. The system sends the invitation at the time the coordinator chose by email, text, or both.
  3. The participant clicks or taps the link in the invitation and enters their personal information. Oracle COVID-19 Patient Monitoring System validates their identity and prompts the participant to complete a daily update.
  4. The participant completes the first daily update survey.
  5. The next day, and every day thereafter, the participant receives a request to complete a daily update.

If participants wants to change their participation, they can:

  • Unsubscribe to stop receiving all messages, including daily requests for status updates.
  • Stop receiving messages temporarily or permanently by contacting the organization's help desk. A help desk agent can pause or end the participation. For more information, see Pause a participant's participation or End participant participation.
