Workflow for test periods

Organizations and participants have their own workflow for test periods.

Workflow for organizations

An organization that wants to use test periods must complete the following tasks:
  1. Identify the vendors that conduct the tests.

If you need to add more vendors in the future, contact your Oracle Customer Success manager.

  2. Identify the testing frequency, such as monthly or weekly.
  3. Identify the tests.
  4. Determine who is eligible for joining the test period, such as all participants or only participants with a specific test result.

If you opt for the latter, you must also determine the criteria for joining the test period, including the test and the required result. You also must identify the vendor and determine whether the vendor reports the results to Oracle COVID-19 Patient Monitoring System.

Workflow for participants

The following events occur after a coordinator adds the participants to the system.
  1. The system sends a participant an invitation and a request to book an appointment.
  2. The participant decides to participate.
  3. The participant books a testing appointment, such as a dry blood spot test or a puncture test, with the lab vendor of their choice.
  4. If the test results meet an organization's requirements—for example, if the test is positive—the system invites the participant to continue receiving tests.
  5. The participant agrees to receive further tests.
  6. At the appropriate times, the system sends the participant requests to book subsequent tests. For each test, the participant can book an appointment with the lab vendor of their choice.

If a participant receives a test from another source, they can report the results through any daily update.
