10 Locations and Schedules
An Oracle Customer Support manager creates the locations for an organization. That person also sets up the types of schedules you want and the different types of appointments you want to book.
For appointments, you can request that the manager set up specific types of appointment choices. For example, you may need appointments for monoclonal antibody infusions, monoclonal infusion monitoring, follow up appointments, COVID-19 screenings, or COVID-19 swab tests. Those appointments may allow telemedicine calls or walk-in patients.
You can also ask your Customer Success manager to set up the schedules, location users, and location usages. For example, for the usage, you can specify the location, health system (test, infusion, Oracle, support), entity, and determine if the location as active or not.
Location users at an organization can schedule different types of appointments for participants at any of their locations. And, one location can include scheduled appointments for one or more organizations. You can also create different types of schedules for different types of appointments.
- Manage locations
If your organization needs locations (physical places) where participants go for medical appointments, contact your Oracle Customer Support manager. Only your Oracle Customer Support manager can activate the Locations/Schedules option in the Oracle COVID-19 Patient Monitoring System and create one or more locations. Once activated, you can see the Locations/Schedules option in the Home page. - Manage schedules
As a location administrator, you can create schedules for a specific location and appointment type. The schedule can be used for a single day or within a fixed start and end date. Location administrators and location staff members can schedule and manage appointments, check-in participants, and process the appointment details. - Manage appointments
You can schedule in-person or telemedicine appointments in advance. Once scheduled, the system automatically sends out notifications using the participants contact information. Or, you can schedule walk-in appointments if participants go directly to the site to be seen by a healthcare worker that day.
