Manage appointments
You can schedule in-person or telemedicine appointments in advance. Once scheduled, the system automatically sends out notifications using the participants contact information. Or, you can schedule walk-in appointments if participants go directly to the site to be seen by a healthcare worker that day.
- Schedule an appointment
Location administrators and location staff users can schedule different types of appointments for participants. The participant may already exist in the system or you may need to add the participant details before making the appointment. Some schedules allow walk-in appointments or telemedicine appointments. - Schedule a walk-in appointment
Location administrators and location staff users can schedule different types of appointments for participants. The participant may exist in the system or you may need to add the participant. For example, a new person may walk into your location and want you to set up a same-day appointment. - View appointments
Location administrators and location staff users can view the appointments scheduled for the current day and the next day at a location. Or, you can view the appointments scheduled for a particular participant. - Resend an appointment notification
You can send another appointment notification to a participant at any time, if necessary. For example, you may want to send an extra notification a day or two before the appointment. (The system automatically sends a notification when you create the appointment.) - Cancel an existing appointment
You can cancel a previously scheduled appointment for a participant, if necessary. The system automatically notifies them. - Check in participants
When participants arrive at a location, you can check them in for their appointments. - Call participants from the queue
When a location staff member (healthcare worker) can see the participant, you can call them from the queue. But, they must check in at the location before getting called from the queue. - Process an appointment
To process an appointment for a participant, a location user checks in the participant and calls the participant from the queue. Then a healthcare worker can perform the medical procedure. If your location uses in-office surveys, the healthcare worker may also need to answer some medical questions about the appointment.
