Schedule a walk-in appointment

Location administrators and location staff users can schedule different types of appointments for participants. The participant may exist in the system or you may need to add the participant. For example, a new person may walk into your location and want you to set up a same-day appointment.

To schedule a walk-in appointment for a participant:
  1. Select Locations/Scheduling from the Home page.

    Note:

    If you cannot see the Locations/Scheduling option on the Home page, contact your Oracle Customer Success manager to activate it.
  2. If your organization includes more than one location for appointments, select the location from the drop-down menu of the location icon. The icon is located next to your account name in the product banner. It looks like the location icon you see on maps: Shows a location icon
  3. Select the Participants tab.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • For an existing participant (in the system): Enter some identifying data on the participant in one or more of the fields and select Search. For example, you can enter the last name, zip code, date of birth, or contact information.
    • For a new participant (not in the system): Select Add Participant from the top of the page. Then enter the field information and select Add Participant. For more information, see Add a participant.
  5. Scroll down the page and select the name of the participant who needs the appointment.
  6. Select Walk In Appointment to book an appointment that day.
  7. If the schedule allows more than one type of appointment, select the type you want from the Appointment Type drop-down menu. Each appointment type indicates if you can also schedule walk-in or telemedicine appointments.
  8. Select the time (if available).
  9. Select Make Appointment & Check In.
When ready, you can call the participants from the queue as described in Call participants from the queue.
