Check in participants

When participants arrive at a location, you can check them in for their appointments.

To check in a participant:
  1. Select Locations/Scheduling from the Home page.

    Note:

    If you cannot see the Locations/Scheduling option on the Home page, contact your Oracle Customer Success manager to activate it.
  2. If your organization includes more than one location for appointments, select the location from the drop-down menu of the location icon. The icon is located next to your account name in the product banner. It looks like the location icon you see on maps: Shows a location icon
  3. Select the Check In tab. You see a Check In Report that lists the upcoming (future) participants and details on their appointment and the time of the appointment.
  4. If necessary, select the 1 to 8 hour time options to filter the list of participants. The system refreshes the list every two minutes, but you can select Refresh Now to refresh the data immediately.
  5. Locate the row with the name of the participant you want to check in and select Check-in from the end of the row.
  6. Review the details on the appointment with the participant to confirm and select Complete Check In.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • Select Check In Someone Else to check in another participant by repeating steps 3-6.
    • Select View Queue to see the list of participants in the queue.
When the healthcare worker can see the patient, you can let the patient know as described in Call participants from the queue.
