Updating the site inventory
Use this function to update the status of any supplies with the Available status that have not been dispensed to a subject in the site inventory.
To update the site inventory, you must be associated with the site.
- Click Supplies (
). - On the left, in the Inventory section, select Update Site Inventory.

Note: The prompts for this procedure can be modified during study design. The following procedure provides a general overview of the steps, but might have been revised for your study. Also, if your study contains both serialized and non-serialized drugs, you might need to perform these steps for each type of drug unit.
- To identify inventory that has incurred a temperature excursion, do one of the following:
- If the entire inventory incurred a temperature excursion, select Yes from the drop-down list, and click Continue.
The transaction is complete.
- If the entire inventory did not incur a temperature excursion, select No from the drop-down list, and click Continue.
You must individually select and enter information for each drug unit.
- If the entire inventory incurred a temperature excursion, select Yes from the drop-down list, and click Continue.
- To identify inventory that has been damaged, do one of the following:
- If the entire inventory has been damaged, select Yes from the drop-down list, and click Continue.
The transaction is complete.
- If the entire inventory has not been damaged, select No from the drop-down list, and click Continue.
You must individually select and enter information for each drug unit.
- If the entire inventory has been damaged, select Yes from the drop-down list, and click Continue.
- Respond to any additional prompts that appear.
A message appears when the transaction is complete.
