Leaving the Default Setting Blank
If you do not assign a default value for a hierarchy level, objects of the subtype will be created without a value at that level. You can add a classification to a particular object at any time.
If the hierarchy level is defined as Mandatory for the subtype but has no default value, you must enter a value manually when you create an object of the subtype.
