• June 2021: Fourth version of the guide. In this version:
  • Updated the Oracle Enterprise Linux versions in the Application Tier section.
  • Added information to remove the encryption parameter in the Set Parameter Values section.
  • Added instructions to edit the dme24indexupdatescript.sql file in the Install Oracle LSH 3.0 section.
• February 2021: Third version of the guide. In this version:
  • Added the Mark the OWBSYS Job as Broken section under the Installing Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub chapter.
  • Added the Mark the OWBSYS Job as Broken section under the Upgrading to Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub Release 3.0 chapter.
  • Moved instructions to remove the residual Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) management objects from the Upgrade to Oracle Life Sciences Data Hub 3.0 section to the Upgrade to Oracle Database 19c (19.8) section.
• December 2020: Second version of the guide. In this version:
  • Added text in the Apply Patches for Oracle Database 19c section for the user to verify if all required patches are applied on Oracle Database 19c.
  • Updated the file name cdrupworkflows.sql to cdrupgworkflows.sql in the Reinstall Existing Oracle LSH Workflows section.
  • Updated the service name CD_DB_SERVICE_NAME to CDR_DB_SERVICE_NAME in the Set CDR_DB_SERVICE_NAME section.
  • Removed section 3.4 Edit listener_ifile.ora.
  • Added a reference to document ID 2617850.1 that contains upgrade instructions for the database on OCI Exadata (ExaCS) in the Upgrade to Oracle Database 19c (19.8) section.
  • In Set Parameter Values:
    • Updated values of Add SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_SERVER and SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_CLIENT to 10.
    • Added the parameter SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT=300
