No Show an Appointment
This topic describes how to mark an appointment as a no show. An appointment is considered a no show when the patient is not present for a scheduled or arrived appointment.
Note:
No shows can be automatically set up by the system, which moves the previous day's appointments in a Scheduled or Arrived status to No Show at midnight. This process is based on the location's time zone.To manually update an appointment status to No Show:
- From Patient Tracker, locate the appointment to be marked as a no show.
Note:
- You must select a location for appointments to be displayed. Additional filters include Appointment Type, Resource, Status, Patient Name, and Date of Birth.
- The system saves the last selected location and it is retained when you navigate away and back to Patient Tracker, including logging off and back on.
- You can manually refresh Patient Tracker. Additionally, Patient Tracker automatically refreshes every five minutes, each time an action is taken, or when you navigate away and back.
- Appointments can be marked as a No Show when the appointment status is Scheduled or Arrived.
- From the applicable appointment, select Actions (…), then select Mark as No Show. The appointment status is updated.
