Medication

The Medication module allows you to select whether your organization allows Patient Portal users to request medication refills and renewals through the Patient Portal.

You can update the following medication information:

• Medication Refill Eligibility Interval Days: The number of days between when a patient portal user can request a medication refill.
• Medication Refill Request Method: How a patient portal user requests a medication refill. This is through a patient portal message by default.
• Medication Refill: Determines whether patients can request medication refills through the Patient Portal.
• Medication Renewal Eligibility Interval Days: The number of days between when a Patient Portal user can request medication renewals.
• Medication Renewal Request Method: How a Patient Portal user requests a medication renewal. This is through a Patient Portal message by default.
• Medication Renewal Switch: Determines whether patients can request medication renewal.
