Set the Inbound Message Preference

You can enable or disable the ability for patients to send messages to your staff. If you turn inbound messaging off, patients cannot send messages through the patient portal.

To set the inbound messaging preference for your site:
  1. In the Messaging card under Application and Module Settings, select Configure Messaging.
  2. Select Edit next to Inbound Messages On/Off. The Inbound Messages drawer is displayed.
  3. Set the toggle button to your organization's preference.
  4. Select Update.
