Review Message Subjects

You can view a list of message subjects that patients can select when they send messages to your organization from the patient portal, if inbound messaging is enabled.

By default, the following message types are available:
  • Appointment request
  • Cancel appointment request
  • Appointment reschedule request
  • Confidentiality request form
  • General message
To select which message subjects are available:
  1. In the Messaging card under Application and Module Settings, select Configure Messaging.
  2. Select Edit next to Consumer Message Types. The list of messages is displayed.
  3. Select the Consumer Message Types box. A list of message types is displayed.
  4. Select the boxes next to the message types you want.
  5. Select Update.
