Change a Password

You can change your password anytime from the Settings page or the sign-in page.

To change your password from the Settings page:

1. Select Ask Oracle to display the Ask Oracle site map and page search. .
2. Select your avatar (or initials) at the top of the Ask Oracle menu to display the User menu.
3. From the User menu, select Settings. The Settings page is displayed.
4. Under Password, select Reset Password. The Reset Password page is displayed.
5. Enter your current password in the Current Password box.
6. Enter a new password in the Enter Password box that meets your organization's requirements.

   Note:

   Each organization has different rules for the length and characters required in a password. Expand the password policy information to view the password requirements.
7. Confirm the new password in the Confirm Password box.
8. Select Reset.
9. You might be asked to confirm your account using a one-time passcode. This passcode ensures your account's security.

Your password is reset and a confirmation message is displayed.
