Reply to Messages

If you can send messages to providers through Patient Portal, you can reply to them.

To reply to a message:
  1. From the Messages Envelope for Messages dashboard, select the conversation you want to respond to. The conversation opens and displays all of the previous messages in that conversation.(Conversations with unread messages are indicated by a blue dot to the left of the message.)
  2. Enter your response in the Enter Message box.
  3. Optionally, select Add Files to attach a file. See Add Attachments for file requirements.
  4. Select Send. You see the message and file name on the page with the date and time the message was sent.
