Write and Add Diary Notes

You can write and add (save) diary notes to your patient diary. Authorized representatives (proxy users) can enter notes on behalf of patients.

To write and add diary notes:
  1. From the Ask Oracle menu Ask Oracle, select Patient Diary (or similarly named item).
  2. Select Add Note.

    Note:

    Depending on your device, you may need to select this action from a More Actions More Actions menu.
  3. In the Title box, add a title for your patient diary entry, for example, Questions for my doctor.
  4. In the Note box, enter your patient diary note:

    You can enter up to 3500 characters (or the number displayed below the text box).
  5. Optionally, use the toolbar below the text box to format the text:
    • To add a paragraph return, place your cursor where you want a new paragraph, and then press Enter
    • To apply bold font, italic font, underlining, or other formatting options, select any text and then select the appropriate toolbar button.
    • To change the text's alignment, create bulleted or numbered lists, or indent the text, place your cursor in any paragraph and select the appropriate toolbar button.
    • To clear any formatting, selecting the text and then selecting Clear Formatting on the toolbar.
  6. Optionally, in the Tags box, add or edit any tags to make this note searchable. See Add Tags to Diary Notes for more information.
  7. Optionally, if available, select the Note Needs Review checkbox to mark this note for review. See Mark Diary Notes for Review for more information.
  8. Select Save. The note is added to the top of your patient diary notes with its date and time.
To make changes, select Edit Edit next to the patient diary note. See Edit Diary Notes for more information.
