6 Patient Diary
Depending on your organization and settings, your Patient Portal might include options for you to keep a patient diary. Your patient diary allows you to write notes about your health journey or questions you have for your provider. Authorized representatives (proxy users) can enter notes on behalf of patients.
Note:
Diary notes are displayed for the currently selected profile only. If you manage profiles for others, select the Switch Profile menu (your name) at the top of the page to switch another profile. See Switch Profile Menu for more information.- View Diary Notes
You can view individual diary notes in your patient diary. - Write and Add Diary Notes
You can write and add (save) diary notes to your patient diary. Authorized representatives (proxy users) can enter notes on behalf of patients. - Edit Diary Notes
You can edit diary notes to update them any time. Authorized representatives (proxy users) can edit notes on behalf of patients. - Archive Diary Notes
You can archive patient diary notes you no longer need. - Add Tags to Diary Notes
Tags can be helpful when you want to add a few key words to help you remember the content or purpose of that note. Tags are also used when searching for patient diary notes. - Mark Diary Notes for Review
Depending on your organization and settings, you might be able to submit diary notes to your provider for review. Authorized representatives (proxy users) can review notes on behalf of patients.
