9 Inventory Management

Inventory counts in the Central Reservation System are influenced by current bookings, allocated group blocks, and Out of Order (OOO) designations made in OPERA Cloud. OPERA Cloud does not send full inventory snapshots to the CRS; instead, it communicates only OOO updates based on its configuration.

CRS can support inventory tracking at two levels depending on how the property is configured in the CRS:

• Room Type Level (Inventory Type)
• Room Unit Level (Inventory Item)
