Getting Started for Hoteliers (for Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Foundation Users with OPERA Cloud Identity Management)

Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Foundation includes access to the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform.

Upon provisioning of or migration to Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Foundation, you will receive an email advising you of the Oracle Hospitality Developer Portal URL.

For production OPERA environments, it will follow this URL format:

For non production OPERA environments, it will follow one of these URL formats:

For example, the production URL for a customer portal with enterpriseID "testenterprise" would be the following: https://oracle-test.com/testenterpriseprd/ui.

Managing Module Level Access Control

Module-level access control allows organizations to control which OPERA modules client applications can access. Customer administrators can enable or disable module-level access control for their organization from the Global Administration area of the Developer Portal.

When module level access control is enabled, administrators can select specific OPERA modules when creating or editing clients. This helps ensure that clients have access only to the modules required for their integration.

Only users with the OHIPADMIN role can enable or disable module-level access control.

Changes to this setting are processed in the background and may take several minutes to complete.

Enabling Module-Level Access Control

  1. Sign in to the Developer Portal.
  2. Navigate to Global Administration.
  3. Locate the Module Level Access Control setting.
  4. Toggle to Enable.

A notification appears indicating that the enablement process has started:

Module level access control is being enabled. This process is running in the background and may take several minutes to complete. You can continue using the application. Revisit this page to verify that enablement has completed and Module Level Access Control is On.

During this process, the system validates existing client applications and synchronizes access control settings with the authorization service.

Disabling Module-Level Access Control

  1. Sign in to the Developer Portal.
  2. Navigate to Global Administration.
  3. Locate the Module Level Access Control setting.
  4. Toggle to Disable.

A confirmation dialog appears with the following message:

Turning off Module Level Access Control will remove API permission restrictions and allow existing clients to access APIs without the configured access controls.

  5. Click Confirm to disable module level access control or Cancel to return without making changes.
