Activities

Prerequisites for Activities

Activities provide you with an account management tool for managing daily tasks such as appointments, sales calls, contact follow-up, and so on.  You can create Activities for Sales Accounts, Contacts, and Blocks. You can also setup Activity auto-traces (rules) to automatically create Activities based on defined conditions.

Note:

Completed Activities are purged according to the Activity Purge Days OPERA Control.
The following dashboard tiles are available specifically for Activities:
  • Activities: View Activity counts for today.

  • Appointments: View the number of appointments today.

  • To Do List: View the To Do List for today.

To use Activities, you must first configure various Activity Types. With the Activity Result Control enabled, you must also configure Activity Results to select when completing an Activity. For more information, see About Sales Activities
