Managing Profile Subscription

When OPERA Cloud is integrated with an external CRM, Leisure or Loyalty system, the profile details are synchronized between systems based on a subscription.

The Profile Subscriptions panel displays a list of the integrated systems to which the current profile is subscribed. The following information is displayed:

  1. Database: Name of the external system to which the profile subscribes.

  2. Subscribed Date: Date when the profile subscribed to the external system.

  3. Profile ID: Unique ID for this profile in OPERA Cloud and external system.

  4. Last Distributed: Date when profile updates were last downloaded to OPERA Cloud.

  5. Last Activity: Date of the last activity for this profile.

  6. Distribute: Indicates if this profile is set to automatically receive profile updates from the external system.

  7. Force: Indicated if the profile data will be changed to agree with the external system in the event of a discrepancy.

Subscribing Profile to an External System

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, select Manage Profile.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the profile in the search results, click the I Want To . . . action, and select Subscription or open the profile and click the Subscription link in Profile Presentation.

  4. Click Subscribe and enter the following:

    1. Database: Click to select the integrated system from the list.

  5. Click Save.

Editing Subscription to an External System

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, select Manage Profile.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the profile in the search results, click the I Want To . . . action, and select Subscription or open the profile and click the Subscription link in Profile Presentation.

  4. Select the external system, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Edit.

    1. Distributed: Select this check box to have profile updated in the external database automatically distributed to the OPERA Cloud profile.

    2. Forced: Select for force updates from external system should the data in the two systems not match.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Subscription to an External System

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, select Manage Profile.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the profile in the search results, click the I Want To . . . action, and select Subscription or open the profile and click the Subscription link in Profile Presentation.

  4. Select the external system, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Delete.

  5. Click Delete to confirm.

Re-Subscribing All

To re-subscribe the profile to all of the external systems that are listed, do the following: 

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profile, and select Manage Profile.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the profile in the search results, click the I Want To . . . action, and select Subscription or open the profile and click the Subscription link in Profile Presentation.

  4. Click the click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu, and select Re-subscribe All.
