Configuring (Calendar) Event Codes

Calendar events are used to identify activities and events such as local festivals, sporting events, concerts and so on occurring in the local area.

Events are setup for dates using the property calendar and are then indicated on the Room Diary and through the Calendar icon displayed in the Look to Book Sales Screen.

When the Membership Rate Rules and Guaranteed Availability for Members OPERA Controls are active, a BlackOut check box is enabled to setup event codes that will restrict members with rate rules  from booking guaranteed rates on black out dates.
