PWA - Managing Preferences

Use reservation preferences to specify the Floor, Smoking and Room Feature preferences for a reservation. When the Reservation Room Feature and Floors OPERA Control is active, the reservation preferences are used when assigning a room to the reservation. For more information, see Assigning a Room to a Reservation.

You can also select Specials (special requests) to apply to the reservation as well as select preferences for other customPreference Groups. The Key Options preference group is used to default access areas on room keys encoded for the reservation. Preference groups may be configured to limit the number of preferences that can be selected; for example - the selection of one smoking preference.

  1. From the Ask Oracle menu navigate either to Arrivals, In-House, or Departures.
  2. Select a reservation.
  3. Tap or click on the Manage link in the Preferences section of the Reservation Detail screen.
  4. Choose between viewing/managing Reservation Preferences or Profile Preferences.
  5. You can view the Preferences organized by the Preference Groups.
  6. Tap or click Manage Preferences to add or remove preferences from either the reservation or the profile.
  7. Enable or disable the switch to select/unselect a preference.
  8. To view all selected preferences, tap or click Selected.
  9. Once you are satisfied with the selection, tap or click on Save.
