PWA - Managing Profile Memberships

You can manage membership details for guests or contacts (available when the Contact OPERA Control is active). Multiple membership details can be added to a profile and selected for reservations.

Adding Profile Memberships

  1. From the Profile Detail page, select Add Membership or the Manage link in the Membership section.
  2. Select the Add Membership button to create a new entry:
    1. Type: Select the membership type from the list.
    2. Card Number: Enter the membership ID number; the number is validated when the membership type is configured for card number validation. A number is auto-generated and populated to Card Number when the membership type is configured for auto-generation. For more information, see Configuring Membership Type Card Number Details.
    3. Name on Card: By default, the profile name appears here. You may edit this information if the membership name is different.
    4. Level: Select a membership level from the list.
    5. Preferred Card: Select check box if the membership program is the guest's Preferred Card. A profile can only have one preferred card. When creating a new membership, the first membership associated with a profile will always default as the preferred card. When adding additional memberships to the same profile, or editing existing memberships, you have the option to select the preferred card for that membership. (Available when the Preferred Card OPERA Control is active).
    6. Member Since: Enter or select the date when the guest became a member of this program (that is, the join date).
    7. Valid Until: Enter of select a date for membership expiry.
    8. Comments: Add information relevant to the membership.
  3. Tap or click on Add.

Editing Profile Memberships

  1. From the Profile Detail page, select Add Membership or the Manage link in the Membership section.
  2. View existing Memberships and select one to modify it. You can also swipe the entry to the right to perform this action.
  3. Edit an existing Membership
    1. Update the details.
    2. Inactive: Enable the switch to inactive the membership. The membership is removed from all checked in and future reservations.
  4. Tap or click on Update.

Deleting Profile Memberships

  1. From the Profile Detail page, select Add Membership or the Manage link in the Membership section.
  2. View existing Memberships and select one to delete it. You can also swipe the entry to the right to perform this action.
  3. Click Delete to confirm.
