PWA - Service Order Management

Use Service Order Management from the OPERA Cloud Mobile navigation menu to view, create, start, update, and delete service orders.

Opening Service Order Management

  1. Open the OPERA Cloud Mobile navigation menu.

  2. Select Service Order Management.

  3. Select Open or Completed to view the corresponding service orders, or select the plus icon to create a service order.

Viewing Service Orders at Hub Level

When signed in at hub level, a resource can view service orders for every property to which the resource has access. A resource can also view service orders assigned directly to the resource, to the resource's resource groups, or to the resource's department.

Filtering Service Orders

  1. Select Filter.

  2. Select one or more filter criteria: Guest Request Only, Unassigned, Location, Reservation, Profile, Service Order Task, Due Date, Priority, Status, Assigned To, Created By, Type, Department, or Resource Group.

  3. Select Apply to update the list, or select Reset to clear the filter criteria.

Starting and Deleting Service Orders

  1. Swipe left on a service order assigned to you, and then select Start.

  2. Swipe right on a service order, and then select Delete.

Creating a Service Order

  1. Select the plus icon, and then complete the following:

    1. Photos: Add photos from the camera or gallery when they help identify the work.

    2. Target: Select Location, Reservation, Profile, or Block, and then select the target record.

    3. Task: Select the required Service Order Task.

    4. Remarks: Enter information that helps the assigned resource understand the request.

    5. Priority: Select the priority. The value defaults from the task.

    6. Status: Confirm or select the status.

    7. Assigned To: Select the resource when ownership is known.

    8. Resource Group: Select the dispatchable group when it is known.

    9. Department: Select the responsible department when it is known.

    10. Guest Request: Turn on the indicator for a guest-related request, and then confirm the guest name when applicable.

    11. Requires Follow Up: Select the indicator when an additional action is required.

    12. Start Date and Start At: Confirm the work start date and time.

    13. Due Date: Enter or select a due date when it is required.

  2. Select the available create action.

Managing Service Orders

  1. Select Open or Completed to view the corresponding service orders.

  2. Select a service order to review its details.

  3. Update the status, priority, assignment, resource group, department, remarks, dates, or photos as needed.

  4. Select the available save action.

You can access Service Orders from a reservation by selecting the More Actions menu in Arrivals, Departures, or In-House. From Task Companion or Room Status, select the Service Orders action.
