Integration Point Authorization

Introduction

This document shows how to configure authorization for HTTP Integration Points (IP). Authorization is required for any environment in which authentication is enabled. The following picture shows how HTTP IPs access various Oracle Health Insurance applications:

IP Access Restriction

HTTP IP authorization is configured using Access Restrictions. For every IP a single access restriction exists. These access restrictions are Oracle Health Insurance-specific. By default they are both enabled and active. All IPs access restrictions are included in the seeded access role "ALL_IP_ACCESS_ROLE". This role is Oracle Health Insurance-specific, active and disabled by default. This access role can be assigned to a user to allow access to the IP’s.
