Dismiss an alert

You can dismiss an alert to stop the alert notifications to you. When you dismiss an alert it is immediately removed from the Alerts list. The notifications do not appear to you again unless you undo the dismiss action.

You dismiss your own alerts, and you can view a list of the alerts you dismissed.

To dismiss an alert:

1. Open the list of alerts for all the trials you have access to.
2. In the Alerts list, do one of the following:
   • To dismiss all of the alerts, select the checkbox below the Search field and above the list of alerts, and then select Dismiss from the adjacent Actions drop-down menu. The Actions menu is disabled until you select one or more alerts in the list.
   • To dismiss an individual alert, select the checkbox in the first column for the alert you want to dismiss, and in the Actions column on the right select Dismiss from the Actions drop-down menu.

   Note:

   • After you dismiss an alert, the Dismiss option in both Actions drop-down menus is replaced with the Undismiss option.
   • To view a list of all your dismissed alerts, navigate to the Alerts list, select the Status filter, and then select the Dismissed option. For more information, see View the list of alerts for all trials you can access.
3. To undo the dismiss action on one or more alerts, do one of the following:
   • To undismiss all of the alerts, select the checkbox below the Search field and above the list of alerts, and then select Undismiss from the adjacent Actions drop-down menu. The Actions menu is disabled until you select one or more alerts in the list.
   • To undismiss an individual alert, select the checkbox in the first column for the alert you want to undismiss, and in the Actions column on the right select Undismiss from the Actions drop-down menu.

   Note:

   • After you undismiss an alert, the Undismiss option in both Actions drop-down menus is replaced with the Dismiss option.
   • To view a list of all of your undismissed alerts, navigate to the Alerts list, select the Status filter, and then select the Undismissed option. For more information, see View the list of alerts for all trials you can access.
