User roles
There are two user roles in Life Sciences AI Agents that determine your feature access: Administrator and Trials.
- Administrator—Gives you access to the User Management interface so that you can manage all Life Sciences AI Agents users and assign their access to trials. As an administrator, you can:
- Add, remove, and update users.
- View existing users and user details.
- Assign, remove, and update user roles and trial access.
- Assign the Trials in Planning Access permission that controls access to Trials In Planning in the Trials list and allows users to add trial protocols into Life Sciences AI Agents.
If you have only the Administrator role, you cannot access trial data. If you, as an Administrator, need trial access you must also have the Trials role.
Note:
As an administrator, you cannot change your own role and trial access or revoke your Administrator role. However, another administrator can revoke your Administrator role at any time. - Trials—Gives you access to the Trials interface so that you can access all trials or a subset of trials. Optionally, this role gives you access to Trials In Planning, which allows you to view Trials in Planning in the Trials list and to add trial protocols into Life Sciences AI Agents. As a user with the Trials role, depending on your trial access and permissions, you can:
- View the portfolio data for all Ongoing Trials.
- Manage all trial data (for Ongoing Trials or Trials in Planning).
- Manage the alerts for all Ongoing Trials.
If you have only the Trials role, you cannot manage users or assign trial access.
You can have the Administrator role, Trials role, or both. If you only have the Administrator role, you cannot access trial data.
