Performing optional analysis tasks

As part of the impact analysis process, you may need to perform additional upgrade and reconciliation tasks. These tasks are required only if:

• You want to use the same coding definition, assignment rules, and synonym list with the new dictionary version.
• Differences exist between dictionary versions in the codes and synonyms used to code verbatims.
