11 Download the PVP from SharePoint (all customers)
Depending on the applications you use, choose one of the following options to download the Product Verification Pack (PVP):
- If you use only Clinical One Cloud Service, download the PVP from SharePoint.
A customer’s SharePoint site remains available for the life of the contract. To request a SharePoint site, send an email to your Oracle point of contact. Include the first name, last name, and email address of each user who requires access.
- If you use other Oracle on-premise applications, you likely have a My Oracle Support (MOS) account and can download the PVP from there.
Request additional access to SharePoint
For users who require SharePoint access after the site has been created, send an email to your Oracle point of contact. The email should include the first and last name for each user and their email address.
- Subject line: Request for access to PVPs in SharePoint – (your company name)
- Email text: Grant each user listed below access to the PVP folder in SharePoint.
When Oracle has processed all access requests, each user receives an email containing a link to the PVP SharePoint folder. Do not forward these links to other users. If additional users require access, submit another request.
Tip:
Bookmark the SharePoint site because Oracle uploads the PVP for each release to the same location.Download the PVP from SharePoint
Only two releases are available in SharePoint at a time. When Oracle uploads a new PVP, the oldest release is removed. To download the PVP ZIP file or supporting documentation:
- Use the SharePoint link provided in the email and then open the appropriate release folder.
- Hover to the right of the folder and select the More Actions menu
, and then select Download
. The download starts automatically and saves the file to your local Downloads folder. Depending on your network bandwidth, the download may take several minutes.
Tip:
Ensure that you have enough available disk space before downloading large ZIP files or supporting documentation.
