5 Release Schedule
Learn when minor, patchset (maintenance), and patch releases are generally planned.
Minor releases (for example, 26.x) are generally planned three times per calendar year: in late winter or early spring, summer, and late fall or early winter.
Patchset (maintenance) releases (for example, 26.x.x) are generally planned a couple of times per year. They include fixed issues and small enhancements that typically do not introduce new settings or permissions or change standard system workflows.
Patch releases (for example, 26.x.x.x) are generally planned monthly. They contain bug fixes and do not include enhancements.
Release timing may change, and additional emergency patches may be scheduled to address urgent customer-facing bugs. To receive email notifications when release announcements are posted, see Learn more about product notifications.
