Confirm dispensation of kits

If confirmation of dispensed kits is enabled in your study, then this task can be part of your workflow. You can confirm dispensation of any type of kit: kits for investigational products, kits used to change doses for a subject, reusable kits or devices.

Note:

If you plan on confirming the dispensation of kits using barcodes, then they must be included in the kit list.

A barcode can be the same number as the kit ID.

Do I have to do this for any other visit besides dispensation visits? No. This task is only available for visits when you dispense kits to subjects.
  1. On the Home page, determine where to work. For more information, see Access study modes and pages.
  2. Along the top, make sure Subjects is selected.
  3. Filter your view based on several criteria. For more information, see Filter subjects in a study.
  4. Locate the subject and click the visit in the Next Visits column.
  5. Answer the questions on each form. Required questions have a blue asterisk to the left of the question number.
  6. Click Save, and then Dispense.
  7. Next, depending on how you want to confirm the dispensation of kits, you can do one of the following:
    • On the Dispense Kits dialog, above the table, type a kit's barcode or scan it.
    • If you want to confirm the dispensation of an individual kit, on the Subject History pane, click the menu icon (Menu) next to each kit, and select Confirm Dispensation.
    • If you want to confirm the dispensation of multiple kits, on the Subject History pane, click Confirm Dispensation above the kit list.
    • If a subject is not candidate to be dispensed a kit, use a value of 0 for the undesired kits to continue with the dispensation.
  8. Click Confirm.
Repeat step 6 for every kit in the table until all kits are marked as confirmed in the Confirmed Dispensation column.
