Dispense kits after a titration error

Maybe you tried to change the dose for one of the subjects in your study but it seemed like titration wasn't available. This could have happened because not enough time had passed after the last titration. If you don't know the minimum time between titrations, contact your Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or medical monitor. After enough time has passed, you can follow these steps to dispense kits.

  1. On the Home page, determine where to work. For more information, see Access study modes and pages.
  2. Along the top, make sure Subjects is selected.
  3. Filter your view based on several criteria. For more information, see Filter subjects in a study.
  4. On the subjects list, locate the subject for whom you want to try dispensing again. The subject must have a status of Screened.
  5. Select the checkbox to the left of the subject.
  6. Above the subject list, from the Manage drop-down, select Dispense.
  7. If you're able to see the dosing options in the Dispense kits dialog, make the right choice for your subject.
  8. Select the checkbox.
  9. Select Next.
    • If the subject can indeed titrate, you may get a message from a sponsor. Read it carefully, and select Next.
    • If not enough time has passed since the subject last titrated, you will go straight through the Dispense Kits dialog like you'd do for any other dispensation visit. Contact your CRA to know more about time limits for titration.
    • If the subject has already reached their highest or lowest dose, read the sponsor message carefully, and select OK. If you want to reconsider your dosing option, select Back.
  10. In the confirmation window, select Return to Subjects to return to the list of subjects at the site, or select Close to remain in the visit.
