Mark a visit that a subject misses as skipped
Depending on how a study is set up, you might be able to skip a visit that a subject misses. You can always skip an optional visit.
Before you mark a visit that a subject missed, consider the following:
- You cannot skip any visits for which data has been entered, a screening visit or a required visit that occurs before the screening visit, a randomization visit, and a visit that start an open-label period.
- If you skipped a visit in error and need to enter data for the visit, click the visit in the table of subjects and confirm that you want to start it.
- A skipped visit cannot be populated by a Data Intake integration. If applicable, undo the skipped visit then request the vendor place the file back on sFTP for re-import.
