Re-sign a subject's data
If a site user updates the answer to a question for a subject who is already signed, that subject becomes unsigned. To make sure the updated data is accurate, you need to re-sign a subject's data.
Before you re-sign a subject's data, consider the following:
- You need the appropriate permission to sign a subject's data.
- If a site user removes a completed and signed repeating form instance, the visits and subjects associated with that repeating form become unsigned and you must re-sign the subject's data again.

Once you re-sign data for a subject, all visits are marked with the
signed icon (). The same icon appears next to the subject and on every form and question
within a form.
