Create the Oracle Empirica Topics web service deployment on the Oracle WebLogic Server
Use these installation steps if you use Oracle Empirica Topics.
- Step 1: Create Topics Service user
For you to create a Topics Service user, you must configure three servers Signal Server, TopicsServer, and UserProvisioningServer - Step 2: Create machine and application servers
For you to create a Topics Service user, you must configure two servers Signal Server and TopicsServer. - Step 3: Create an Empirica Credential Store
After you previously created the servers or clusters, in this step you will deploy the JDBC data source. - Step 4: Create a Credential Store map and keys
In this step you will create credential map and keys for DatabaseCredentials, TopicsService, and DatabaseConnectURL. - Step 5: Create System Policies for three assets
In this step you must create a system policy and codebase policy for each one of the Signal, TopicService, and TopicServiceR webservices. - Step 6: Verify store type
You must verify that the information provided on step 5 is reflected in the Security Provider Configuration page. - Step 7: Configure and validate service policies
In this step you will validate the service policy for EmpiricaTopicsPort. - Step 8: Start servers
In this final step you will start the Signal, Topics, and UserProvisioning servers.
